Linking my Domain Name with my Website

When creating a Jumptools website you get a free default domain name alias that can be used to access your website: 'agents.jumptools.ca/yourname'
If you want your business to look more professional and improve your Search Engine Optimization (SEO) you can link a custom domain name to your website. If you do not own a Custom Domain, click here to learn how to purchase one.

2. In the Website Builder, click on  "General Information"

3. In the "Your Website Address/Language" tab, go to "Domain Settings"

Edit your default domain name alias - optional if you have a custom domain name

You must only use alphanumeric characters in this field (alphabet from A to Z and the numbers 0 to 9).

If you have a domain name that you want to use with your website make sure to call your domain name provider, prior to follow the below steps, and ask them to update your domain's A Record to 206.223.170.231

General Information - Google Chrome

Fill in your domain here.  If you have registered your domain with Jumptools, your domain will automatically be attached to your account.  

If your domain is registered with a third party, make sure to change your domain settings with your domain provider.  Use the following instructions:

 

  1. If your domain is already in use with a different website, make sure your nameservers are set to your domain provider's standard nameservers.  
  2. Set the A host records to the following IP address: 206.223.170.231

4. Click "Save" at the bottom to save your work.

5. Click "Next" to go to the Website Builder and click "Publish"
