Testimonials are a great way to add content to your website that highlights your service to your clients. Having video testimonials allows your website visitors to meet the people who have benefited from your service.
This tutorial will review how to include a Youtube video into your Testimonials page.
This tutorial requires a video uploaded onto Youtube and some basic knowledge of HTML. To embed a video outside of the Testimonials editor, use custom paragraphs.
1. Access your website builder
3. Open the Testimonials panel and add a new testimonial.
4. From the editing panel, select the "Iframe" option
5. Open your Youtube video and in the Share options, select "Embed"
Please note that copying the Youtube video URL will not allow you to embed it into a website. Please use the "embed" address.
Copy the address from the embed code as shown in the following example.
Take note of the width and height. You can use these dimensions, and they can be adjusted on your website as needed.
6. Return to your Testimonials page in your Site Builder.
Paste the address you copied into the Iframe window.
Add width and height attributes. You can use the default attributes from the Youtube embed code.
Adjust this code as needed.
Advanced options: For this video to fit in all windows, including on mobile browsers, you can use percentages for the "width", which will correspond to the width of the testimonial column. Please note, results may vary depending on the template you select and your browser.
7. Click "Save" to save this testimonial, and "Done" to close the window.
The window must be closed by clicking "Done" at the bottom of the Testimonials block for this page to "Save".
8. Save this page and Publish.
You can "Preview" this page before publishing and return to adjust as needed.
